The Community of Golden Hills, San Diego County
Overlooking downtown San Diego from it’s eastern hillside, the community of Golden Hills is indeed an interesting neighborhood. Residential real estate varies from modern condominiums to craftsman homes, and bungalows from the 1920–1940 period. Shopping is in close proximity, providing a variety of small businesses and restaurants. Many homes have a historical background from the 1920’s and 1930’s and have been restored as professional buildings, thereby retaining the character of the community.
