Coronado
Coronado is a city located in San Diego County, California. Nicknamed The Crown City, the 2000 census found the city to have a total population of 24,100. Allso nicknamed The Tent City, it refers to tourists’ tents that once lined Coronado Beach during the summer-vacation season.
Coronado is home to the famous Hotel del Coronado, built in 1888 and long considered one of the world’s top resorts. In fact, it is listed as a National Historic Landmark.
