Carlsbad
Carlsbad was named for Karlsbad, Bohemia which is famous for its mineral water spas. The city has become one of the largest suburban cities in San Diego County, since its Incorporation in 1952, and a favorite for San Diego home owners. Carlsbad reaches out from its inland hills, all the way down to the shoreline, providing many Carlsbad homeowners breathtaking views of the Ocean. Carlsbad is Only 35 miles from downtown San Diego, and reknown for it’s variety of lovely homes, starting from around $280,000 and running into the millions; one can own a condo for around $180,000.
Carlsbad is famous for it’s beaches and boasts some 20 parks,8 playgrounds and 21 public tennis courts. Oh, and We musn’t forget the golphers. Carlsbad is also endowed with with world class resorts and is also home to to Legoland and many golf corporations like Calloway Golf. Since the turn of the century, The city has grown from population of some 300 to over 83,472 people today, but despite it’s growth, the city still vaunts many open valleys and hillsides.
